Welcome to the TinyTalk classes of
Tegan Tennant
Hello! I'm Tégan, the TinyTalk teacher for North Glasgow and would be delighted to meet you. I can't wait to introduce your family to all things baby sign and support your little one to communicate with you directly through songs, stories and play.

After attending TinyTalk classes with my first baby I became a huge fan and enjoyed learning a new skill for myself whilst bonding with my baby. I decided to switch from a background
in primary education to train as a 'purple teacher' in 2024. I now have two TinyTalkers of my own and we use our BSL signs every day.
Our classes are a fun and social way to explore signing, singing and stories, where all are welcome. We love to get out some props, instruments and puppets to help the little ones (and families!) learn BSL signs that they can use at home. I've seen first hand how signing can reduce our children's frustrations and help them develop speech and communication from an early age.
Classes are split into two parts; teaching and talking! We have a structured half hour where we learn new signs, revise previous signs, sing songs or hear stories followed by an equally important social time with refreshments for adults and lots of playing for babies and toddlers.

Qualifications:Degree and Masters in Education, Paediatric First Aid, Signature Introduction to BSL.
I love baby signing because:It opens up the door to your little one's world! It's amazing to see a baby ask for something without the frustration or tears and my toddler still chooses to use sign across the park or playground.
