Welcome to the TinyTalk classes of
Dianne MacLean



Hi! My name is Dianne and I am your local baby signing teacher for TinyTalk Dundee, with classes running in Dundee, Broughty Ferry, and Carnoustie.
I attended classes with my son Andrew when he was 5 months old, and by 7 months he was able to sign for milk! I couldn't believe that not only could he use his hands for waving and clapping, he could now communicate his needs to me using
sign language. It was at that point that I knew this was something I would love to teach and spread the word to as many parents as possible to show them how truly wonderful signing with your baby can be.

At TinyTalk we use British Sign Language signs to encourage early communication between you and your little one. We do this through well known nursery rhymes, sensory activities, stories, and games. This is enjoyed over the first 30 minutes of the class. The next 30 minutes is social time. A time for you to enjoy a hot drink and a few biscuits while your little one can play with toys and other babies of similar ages. It also gives you the chance to have some adult chat, and realise that your not the only one with a baby who doesn't sleep, isn't feeding well, or cries every time you turn your back on them. It gives you a peace of mind knowing you're not alone, and also the opportunity to make new friends.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT FROM OTHER BABY CLASSES:
- We are 1 hour long.
- We provide refreshments.
- Siblings come free! You pay per family, not per child.
- We use BSL signs.
- Can't make a week? We offer make-up classes, or the chance to give your space to a friend.
