Hi, I’m Miriam, your TinyTalk teacher for Ammanford, Carmarthen and surrounding.
I have a one-year-old (Eluned), who I took to TinyTalk classes at 6 months old and who is growing her signing vocabulary all the time, alongside her spoken words. It has been a joy watching her learn to communicate and seeing her face light up when we respond.
This experience motivated me to make a major career change to become a TinyTalk teacher, in the hopes that I can help lots of other babies start their communication journey with their parents.
TinyTalk classes aren’t just about learning the signs; they’re also a lovely, relaxed way to meet and connect with other parents. The hour-long classes are split into the 30-minute class with lots of signs, songs and sensory activities, and then 30 minutes of social time to have a cuppa and chat with each other whilst the babies play.
