Nikki, your TinyTalk classes are so worthwhile, seeing Isla excel from a baby to 17 months enjoying every class and learning the signs along the way has been fantastic. The lovely touches you add along the way with the certificates, drinks and snacks are so well received. Thank you! 5 stars all the way!
We have Nikki as our teacher and she is just so welcoming in her classes and inclusive of everybody. She's always got a smile on her face and is just a genuinely nice person. The only class we have continued with our baby as we enjoy it every week! X
Nikki @ TinyTalk Mid Essex is just the best of the best! Me and my baby boy have visited so many different classes in our area and I would say this one is the best but just because of Nikki. She is a real talented actress, she can fascinate even the most sullen person by her singing. I am really enjoying going to her classes probably even more than my little one! Already signed for the new term and really looking forward to it. x
Nikki is always full of energy and fun! She's so welcoming and warm. It's clear she puts so much time, effort and planning into every class to make sure it is special not just for babies but for us grown ups too. We absolutely love her and her classes. Also, I have never seen her make a mistake on the welcome song where she remembers absolutely everyone's name in the room which is extremely impressive!
Nikki is a gift to all children. They love her. My son Kai loves the classes we go to. Nikki is so engaging, friendly and welcoming. Not just to the children, but to us parents as well. We both look forward to going to class every week. Cannot recommend her highly enough x
I would like to nominate Nikki at TinyTalk Mid Essex. I have been taking my son Elliott since he was 8 weeks old and we have absolutely loved spending every Friday morning with Nikki!! He is now two and we are waiting to join Toddler Talking as we don't want to miss out!! Nikki is so enthusiastic and engaging with all the babies and toddlers, they all absolutely adore her, just as us mums do! She is kind, compassionate and makes everyone feel welcome! My son has learnt over 40 signs during his time with Nikki and it has been our most enjoyable and beneficial class we have attended for his development and ability to communicate his needs with me. She is an absolute star!
We love TinyTalk Mid Essex with Nikki! I first took Jessica when she was only a few weeks old but from day 1 she was so taken with watching everything Nikki does! She makes it so fun and interactive even for the smallest of babies and I cannot wait until I see Jessica make her first sign <3
Nikki from TinyTalk Mid Essex deserves to win this so much, she makes my little girl smile every week, we walk towards class and she gets so excited and already starts waving, her face lights up when she sees Nikki and this doesn't happen to any other baby group leader or stranger to her! She waves at Nikki across the room and is greeted by a huge smile and a wave from Nikki and then will sit by Nikki the whole class and 'help' her with her props. Nikki is so warm and welcoming every week, when I joined TinyTalk when my daughter was 5 months old I was so nervous but I immediately felt like I had known her forever and she already knew my name and my daughter's when we first walked in. Every week she brings the same high energy fun to make it such an engaging atmosphere and my daughter is learning so much with her signs which is helping her to communicate with her Grandad who is deaf, and I truly believe Nikki's classes are the reason she is now a confident one year old who has no fear and will join in with everything. I don't know any other group that is able to have a huge range of ages and manages to include everyone and make everyone feel loved even down to the family members that came to the odd class, and Nikki does that with ease. After going back to work I didn't want my daughter to miss out so my mum now takes her as I couldn't let her miss out on this vital part of her childhood, we'll be taking her to toddler classes as soon as we can too so we can stay with Nikki for as long as possible! I could go on all day about Nikki as you can probably tell! <3 <3
TinyTalk Mid Essex 110% deserves this!!! Nikki is absolutely fantastic with the children and makes everyone welcome. My dad took my son for a bit when I went back to work and loved every single session. When we started initially she made me feel so comfortable as a first time mum and I can honestly say hand on heart she has made such a difference to how my son communicates and feels like he can express his wants/needs. Everyone we meet is always so impressed by his signing and it has taken away some of his frustration - thank you so much for this! After having a break due to work, we are attending a couple of Nikki's summer sessions and it was like my son hadn't left. He remembered everything that happens in class and was so happy and smiley for Nikki. This just shows how much of a wonderful impression she makes on each child. I can't wait to go back in a week or two for her toddler talk class as I know my son will love every single thing that she does.
I would like to nominate Nikki at TinyTalk Mid Essex. She has made me feel so welcome and comfortable in the classes, she knows everyone on a personal name by name basis and every class she puts 110% effort and energy into the groups. The classes have a real buzz about them and it's our favourite class! My daughter has only just started to sign but seeing the progress older babies have made is amazing!

We absolutely loved our TinyTalk classes with Nikki. The sessions are really lovely, friendly and lots of fun. My little boy loved the signing, the props and toys and was always really engaged with Nikki, often sitting right at the front with her <3 Nikki creates such a warm and welcoming class every time, she is passionate about what she does and it shows in every class <3
Nikki from TinyTalk Mid Essex is absolutely wonderful. Super friendly and welcoming from the moment you sign up, and always ready to greet you with a smile as soon as you step into class. Her classes are very engaging and fun, and my little girl loves coming. Whenever I tell my daughter we're going to TinyTalk that day, she'll say "TinyTalk, see Nikki!" and she loves to get as close to the action as possible. It has been, by far, the best baby group we've attended and I'm super excited to try out Nikki's new toddler class soon <3
Nikki from TinyTalk Mid Essex is absolutely brilliant. I have been taking my little girl since she was 10 weeks old and it's always been our favourite class. Nikki is a wonderful teacher. When she is singing and signing my daughter is totally mesmerised. Nikki is warm, welcoming and best of all so much fun :D
Nikki from TinyTalk Mid Essex is just amazing <3 She has been so welcoming and my son loves going to her classes. Myself and my son have learnt so many signs and continue to learn more. I have had a tough year but Nikki and her classes have given me a reason to get out each week and have something to look forward to. Nikki's classes are always sold out even with the addition of the new toddler classes which shows just how much she is loved and how great she is. She is also studying and learning more BSL. My son has a great time at her classes but it's moments when Nikki has his full attention that makes me smile. How he looks at her and giggles is adorable <3

We absolutely loved our Tiny Talk classes with Nikki. The sessions are really lovely, friendly and lots of fun. My little boy loved the singing, the props and toys. Learning some of the key signs has been hugely beneficial in developing his communication. The time at the end of each session for the babies to play and for the grownups to enjoy a chat over a hot drink was always appreciated! We started coming to TinyTalk when our daughter was less than 3 months old and she has loved it from day one. Nikki makes the group so welcoming and fun, we have learned lots of signs and it has been great at helping our daughter communicate. We couldn't recommend TinyTalk enough.

TinyTalk with Nikki is by far my favourite baby class to attend with my little one. Nikki is so kind and engaging, each class is super fun and educational. I'm not surprised there is a wait list for her classes, if you're thinking about signing up - go for it! You will love the experience with your baby.
We started TinyTalk with Nikki when my son was about 14 weeks old - I’d not been to many baby classes with my older child because of Covid, and I quickly realised I’d struck gold by signing up to TinyTalk. The classes themselves are interesting, informative, relaxed and so welcoming. I’ve loved learning something new alongside my baby, and seeing him develop and start using signs too has been incredible. The environment Nikki creates is wonderful - the opportunity to have a hot drink, sweet treat and a chat after class is lovely and enables parents/carers to actually make friends. She’s a fantastic class leader whose sessions are - quite rightly - extremely popular. Sign up if you can, you won’t regret it!
We will miss our TinyTalk classes so much. It’s different to all the other baby classes - there is something really special about it. Nikki brings 100% every time, she creates an environment that is welcoming, fun and interesting, and you go home feeling happy. She genuinely cares about every child’s development, and the children are completely captivated by her. By the time we graduated the class, my son would shout “Nikki and Ted!” everytime we drove into the car park. You look around the class, and you see so many special memories being made between parent and child. It is one of the best things we’ve done together!
Nikki’s Tiny Talk class is the most amazing class we have been to (and there’s been a few!), it’s the most inviting and welcoming class from whenever you join, Nikki knew our names from the first day and the amount of names she has to remember that is just incredible to start but it makes you feel even more welcomed whilst putting them into a song too! The guide you get sent before you start is so helpful for those first class nerves as it covers every single question you could ever have. Classes are amazing value, they are so well priced and you get a drink and a biscuit included too, which is what every parent needs! Nikki doesn’t have any help and does everything herself whilst leading an amazing full class, full of interactive activities, dressing up, singing, dancing, playing and all while learning signs to teach your baby to communicate and link both signs to words and the sounds, and in an easy way to learn and remember. The certificates to celebrate first classes and milestones are so special and something we’ll treasure forever! You aren’t made to feel rushed or forced to take part or not able to talk, you can change or feed your baby easily too in the room. I feel like I could go on all day about how amazing Nikki’s class is! Our little girl is a hard one to make smile from strangers and from day one she is always happy to see Nikki and is always fixed on her for the whole class. Thank you Nikki for an amazing experience that we never want to stop!
Nikki is a fantastic teacher - warm, enthusiastic and friendly. Tiny Talk is our absolute favourite class - not only have the signs my child has learned improved our communication, but the classes are thoroughly enjoyable and always have a great, inclusive atmosphere. I couldn’t recommend these classes more highly.
My little girl and I love TinyTalk. Nikki is baby whisperer and gets my girl to smile even when in melt down. Signing up to this class was best thing I did. Learning to sign helps me understand my little girl before she is able to talk. It's also a blessing to be able to have hot drin,k choccy and chat while the littlens play. Nikki is a testament to herself. She is having to open more slots due to how amazing she is. Now to do classes for older toddlers to school age. then will be perfect <3
I would like to say that your class has easily been my favourite, you are so lovely and created an environment so safe and friendly, making it easy to connect with other mums. Also your ability to remember everyone's name is seriously impressive. So thank you. I only wish I started sooner! If we are lucky enough to have another baby I will be registering as soon as I can! xx
Fantastic baby class with energetic and fun teacher. A lovely aspect is that parents are encouraged to chat at the end with a free drink and biscuit.

Nikki makes this class so special. We did the class for 18 months, and both my son and myself loved it! Nikki is amazing, very kind and thoughtful too. You are made to feel very welcome, she introduces everyone by name every week, and you get some chilled time at the end for a coffee and play which is just lovely. The class has a really nice feel to it. It’s really fun, singing and dancing, and really helps younger children be able to communicate and bring on their communication skills through speech and sign. I would highly recommend this class for all the above reasons. My son absolutely loved it. Thank you so much Nikki x
Dear Nikki, your class has not only supported our signing journey, but my well being as well. I always looked forward to coming to class, as I knew there would be a smiling face, hot drink, snack and no pressure to be on time - all the things a very sleepy and often overwhelmed parent covets. R loved the class too - singing and signing the welcome song on TinyTalk day and yelling "see Nikki Ted!" We will miss TinyTalk so much!
We've really loved coming to class and X really enjoys all the singing. We were so sad to finish today. You're really good at what you do and you've created something really special. I can see how much the children and parents love the class. I hope you are proud of what you have achieved :)

Nikki at TinyTalk Mid Essex. Not only has she helped me and my daughter learn sign language and fun ways to sing and sign. But she's helped me teach my non speaking autistic son to sign and shown so much love and acceptance towards him. She's changed our lives, and given my son a new way to communicate <3

Nikki Hunt is the most amazing teacher I have ever come across, her classes are such a warm welcome space which makes learning so easy and fun. My little one lights up when they see Nikki. She is always smiling and has so much energy. Our favourite class and so great to be able to communicate from such a young age.

This lovely lady and her wonderful welcoming class completely changed how I looked at baby classes. To spend time with your little one, in a friendly safe environment is one thing, but to learn to communicate with them through sign from such a young age amazed me and still continues to do so even now when my little one is 19 months old. Thank you for such a lovely class.
Cannot recommend this class enough! From the moment we joined, Nikki made us feel so welcome. I joined with my daughter when she was 6 months old and her little face lights up when we walk in. She LOVES the class just as much as I do. Every week brings something new and exciting to learn and it's a fantastic way to communicate with young babies. I only wish I'd found it previously with my two older boys!
We had the best experience with Nikki. TinyTalk is a special class but it takes a special person to lead it too. We were made to feel so welcome and comfortable and my little boy grew in confidence and picked up so many signs! It is so fun and such a great skill to learn with your baby and I would highly recommend this class to all parents <3
We have attended TinyTalk for about 9 months now and we absolutely love it. We look forward to it every week! Nikki is wonderful, she is brilliant with all the babies and makes you feel very welcome and valued. Our little one is now signing many signs and it has also encouraged her a lot with her first words too. Her classes are highly recommended!
The classes with Nikki are amazing! I already know lots of signs so wasn't sure if it would be worth it, but my little girl absolutely loves the sessions. They are so relaxed as well that it doesn't matter if your child likes to cause a little chaos and doesn't want to sit still!!! My little girl loves it and at the end she gets to play with toys while I enjoy a rare hot drink!!
Me and my little one really enjoy these sign classes which are genuinely beneficial to helping your little one communicate before they can talk. They are so fun and upbeat and Nikki creates a lovely welcoming atmosphere for babies and parents alike!

I've been taking my little girl Emily to TinyTalk for a few months now and we both love it so much! She (and I!) have made lots of new friends, and we both look forward to our hour of signing and signing every week with Nikki. She's a natural with the little ones, and has them all smiling, laughing, clapping and singing along, it's a really heart warming environment to be in :)
Our TinyTalk classes are the highlight of our week. Nikki is brilliant! The classes are really fun as well as being a brilliant way for our little one (and us parents) to learn signing. Everyone is very friendly and it is a lovely environment to be in. I cannot recommend enough!
The best class for all babies, toddlers, mums, dads, grannies and grandpas! I cannot recommend TinyTalk and Nikki enough, Nikki is so passionate and dedicated to everything she does, she's a real shining light full of smiles, laughter, enthusiasm and positivity. Nikki is such a huge support and reassurance both in and out of the classes on both class and non signing related matters. Being deaf myself, BSL is highly important to me, especially so more recently as I'm losing the remainder of my hearing. Yes I could have taught my daughter myself but she would never have had the fun, friendships or memories made and she also won't feel isolated having signed with other babies, toddlers and families. We attended classes from 4 months- 2 years and were both equally as sad to see this chapter come to an end, my little one with over 125 signs, new friendships and having the best time. TinyTalk really is something you don't want to miss out on, it quickly becomes your favourite time of the week signing, coffee, biscuits and friendship what more could you possibly want?
We have been going to TinyTalk for over a year now. Nikki is a great teacher and is great with the babies and toddlers. Having lost my hearing in my left ear it's important to me that my daughter learns BSL. Yes I can teach her but she takes it all in in class and sees everyone else signing and not just me. Highly recommend.
We love TinyTalk, Nikki is the most fantastic teacher! My son has learnt lots of signs which has greatly aided communication. We have been going since he was 7 months and now he is 2 and about to finish his journey! I wish I had started with him even sooner! It's a lovely, friendly, welcoming class and feels like a little safe haven to enjoy time with other mums and bond with your baby/toddler. Highly recommend!
Such a great class! The nursery rhymes and songs are super fun and a great introduction to baby signing. It's also nice that there are toys to play with along with the songs and the tea and biscuits at the end is a lovely touch. Nikki is a fantastic and enthusiastic instructor who is super personable and makes you feel right at home in her classes. Couldn't recommend more!
This is definitely one of the best baby classes I have been to with both my kids. It has everything, singing, dancing, signing, play time afterwards and drink/snack for parents, which is a great way to also meet other parents. The signing is great as you feel your little one is really learning something, which helps with communication in the early months/years. My eldest really enjoyed all the signing even though we stopped going many months ago, he still continues to do the signs and communicate with us more effectively. Nikki is very good and engaging and a great support in general, even on things non TinyTalk related. Such a brilliant class that I have now returned with my second!
Brilliant classes! I wish I had taken my eldest to them when he was younger. My 1 year old loves going every week and has now learnt 13 signs and uses them to communicate with us. Nikki is so lovely and very welcoming. Bonus points also for being a good singer <3
We have absolutely loved TinyTalk and recommend it to everyone! It has been my favourite class on maternity leave and I'm genuinely sad to have to go back to work and miss it <3 Thank you! <3
Nikki is fantastic - personable and friendly. Other classes we have tried have felt like we are just making up the numbers but at TinyTalk we feel valued. We started at 8 months old and still love it. Dietary requirements (snacks and hot drinks) are catered for with no fuss, such a relief. The classes themselves are full of fun and learning. I am sad that it is our last term.
This class was our favourite baby group to be a part of. Nikki is so engaging and all of the classes are varied and educational. She always goes over and above and amazingly remembers everybody's names! My son (1yo) has already started signing and although we have stopped the classes the foundation Nikki has provided enables us to continue signing at home. It has been a great class for meeting other mums and finally enjoying a hot drink. Thank you Nikki, you're a superstar.
It's one of our favourite classes to do together and one of the only ones that we're continuing now I'm back at work. The class is lovely, really engaging for the little one and the time for coffee with mums afterwards is great! Definitely recommend to everyone!
We absolutely LOVE attending TinyTalk. My little boy has developed so much ability to communicate and is picking up sounds and words along with his signs. It's so nice to be able to understand his needs through signing and enjoy the songs in class and at home. Nikki is amazing, I love how she tracks and logs his development. We would highly recommend these classes <3
We love going to TinyTalk, the classes are fun and engaging, my son spends most of the time staring at Nikki! He is only little but takes so much in, I can't wait to see him start signing. Nikki makes the signs fun and easy to remember so that you can practice them at home. I would 100% recommend this class, you won't be disappointed! You even get a hot drink and chocolate at the end! I did not expect anything when we started the classes and thought I'd just support the new business and have a nice cup of tea with some friendly faces each week. But your class has been amazing! It's been so lovely watching him learn and how proud he is of himself when he can tell us what he wants. On days when he isn't well and doesn't have the energy to tell us what he needs or what's wrong, he can communicate with us all and I love it!

I would love to nominate Nikki at @tinytalk.mid.essex. My daughter is deaf and we were struggling to get her to engage with signing as a form of communication. With Nikki's enthusiasm, patience and friendliness she was able to pick up over 50 signs in 12 months and we're a much happier family for it. I cannot recommend Nikki's classes enough and there's more than one reason she's already fully booked for next term! We were gutted to leave Nikki when my daughter turned 2 but I'm so happy that I feel we have a friend for life. Thank you so much Nikki, you'll never know how much your classes meant to us these last 12 months <3
I would like to nominate Nikki. Our TinyTalk sessions are such a joy to attend! Nikki is kind, warm and engaging with babies and parents alike; it made me feel so welcome from day one. Everyone is utterly transfixed when she signs and sings because she does it so beautifully (and does the best animal sounds I've ever heard!) Her positivity is infectious, I always leave the session feeling brighter and that is so important as a new mum.
We just love our sessions with Nikki at TinyTalk Baby Signing Mid Essex - Maldon, Witham & Braintree!! We've been attending for a year now and even though I've had to go back to work, we've roped Nanny in so that Arlo can still go along! Nikki has been great to accommodate Arlo's additional needs with his VI and he just loves her! We don't want to have to stop at 2!

Nikki is an amazing teacher. Her enthusiasm shines through every single lesson. I have never seen her without a smile on her face. Nikki's TinyTalk baby sign classes are fabulous and so welcoming. She is a natural at teaching baby sign and nothing is too much trouble. My mum came with me the other week and also commented how wonderful the class was.
I know I've said it loads of times, but I've done over 20 baby classes with Jax and Sophia and yours is by far the best, and you are by far the best!
We've been to a lot of classes over the years and yours was the most practical, fun and welcoming by far. I've never walked into a room full of babies before and instantly felt calm and peaceful.
Absolutely love this class - 100% recommend - Nikki is very engaging, I don't feel judged for my mischievous toddler, and it's such an easy way to learn basic signing with our babies in fun and low pressure environment. Plus, there's a cuppa and a bit of chocolate during some free play time - which I usually get to drink hot! :)
TinyTalk is definitely my favourite class. Nikki is so personable, her passion is palpable and she goes above and beyond. I was worried about singing in public and learning sign language before going but it's broken down really well, easy to follow and very fun. I would highly recommend this class to anyone, I've also met some lovely mum and babies so far, I really look forward to class each week and get a lot from attending :)

Such an amazing way to learn to communicate with your baby from such young ages. We love it and would highly recommend!
We absolutely adore our TinyTalk classes with Nikki! Nikki makes them so much fun, no pressure and interactive and your little one is able to learn signs and develop at their own pace. My little one has picked up more than 20 signs and our classes have really helped her language come on. Our classes are the highlight of our week and a brilliant thing to do on my one day off with my little one now that I'm back to work. We've met some wonderful parents and little ones too. Everyone should learn BSL, it's a wonderful experience and TinyTalk is a brilliant introduction to BSL signs for both parents and babies alike.
Absolutely incredible. My one year old is learning to communicate what he wants and needs and it's all because of Nikki and her amazing classes. the group is friendly, inviting and totally fun, my boy always enjoys himself and we cannot thank Nikki enough for what she does. She goes above and beyond to make the sessions the best they can be.

Nikki is always smiling and welcoming. You can see baby sign is a huge passion of hers and we've really enjoyed the sessions. We've learnt so much and can't wait to use it as Robyn grows up.
I was really sceptical at first but it is the most interesting baby group I've been to. I love learning new signs every week and being able to teach the whole family. I feel like I can understand my baby's wants and needs better.
I never wanted to be part of baby classes when I became a parent, my friend made me come and I now come without her. Nikki makes the classes so enjoyable and fun, 100% recommend for learning, fun and socialising :)
Eliza and myself both really love our weekly TinyTalk class. It is informative and enjoyable for us both. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and Nikki is a great teacher <3
Such an amazing interactive class. Oscar has such a great time every single week and absolutely loves Nikki. TinyTalk is one of the few groups where Oscar is engaged for the whole session.
I can highly recommend these classes! Not only does my little boy love every week but it gives me a reason (and want) to leave the house! Nikki is so friendly and knowledgeable of what she's doing and the hot drink and social time is lovely considering I usually spend 12+ hours of my day with no-one over the age of 8! Nikki makes you feel welcome week by week and learning signs to help communicate is great. Book people you won't regret it!
Nikki is absolutely amazing. Such a lovely, kind lady, nothing is too much or too big an ask. Being deaf myself sign language is highly important to me and something that I feel is important for my CODA daughter. Nikki has amazing adapting sessions ensuring I know what's going on with word sheets and reserved mats in a prime location. If you want to learn BSL I cannot recommend Nikki & Ted highly enough, me and Verity love it.
We love our TinyTalk classes and we love Nikki! They're the highlight of my little girl's week. They're informative, fun and social with absolutely zero pressure.x
I love coming to Nikki's TinyTalk classes. Not only is Jasper and the family learning to communicate, we are having fun meeting new friends, singing songs and catching up :)
Wow! Where should I start? Firstly Nikki has to be the friendliest and most enthusiastic teacher I have ever known. Secondly, the hall environment is lovely, bright and fun. Lastly, the course content is just perfect, not too much that you're swamped but enough to practice weekly with your child. Thoroughly enjoyed our time with Nikki at this class. Thank you!
We truly love our weekly TinyTalk classes! Nikki makes you feel welcome and is always on hand to help outside of the class too! We have learnt so much since completing our first term at TinyTalk and Nikki goes above and beyond to make the classes fun and interactive and provides great refreshments at the end of each session. Would highly recommend.
